A Massachusetts Church; “The Pink Church” enjoys a Sound System Renovation

PSNE was asked to design and audio solution for a common church sound issue. This beautiful Pittsfield Massachusetts church, known as The Pink Church, (Sacred Heart) had 4 small speakers that simply could provide proper sound coverage, or quality, to the sanctuary and transept pews. We upgraded the parish sound system adding new speakers in the nave, narthex, and the choir loft. And we re-purposed some of the existing speakers for the transepts. St. Benedict Parish a Boston area church in Somerville MA has recently added an integrated audio visual system designed and installed by Power Sound. The congregation is multi cultural. The new Church video projection system has provided more ways for parishioners to connect to each other - even those thousands of miles apart! The pastor, Fr. Robert Carr, is enthused about the features of which he explained that one of his most favorite is a camera overhead near the altar. Ideal for close-up recording of baptisms which are then displayed live on the church's video projections screens so all the congregation can enjoy a "close-up" view the blessed event. Fr Carr also wrote on our Facebook page about another of the features video projection has offered his congregation.
