FirstParishChurch needed a sound system renovation. Like so many churches in New England, they were enduring the crackling, fading, and "cutting out" typical of older P.A. systems. Most essential, we wanted to address the needs for the Spoken Word but also we wanted to make the Music Ministry shine. Typically, churches, due to the challenging acoustical environment, have had to choose one or the other.

After a comprehensive audio analysis, and review of parish budget guidelines, we designed a custom audio system featuring professional-series BOSE loudspeakers, crafted specifically for the church environment. This unique system offers exceptional sound quality for both the spoken word and the music ministry. Specialty-application speakers were fabricated into light fixtures to supply sound to the loft. Unconventional, yes. Effective, absolutely.
Highlight: The system records worship services directly to audio disc. Ideal for internet broadcasts for "shut-ins" and other parish website visitors. And, with Power Sound's custom settings, the system will automatically adjust for the number of attendees; ensuring perfect sound every time.
From the very front pew to the loft; everyone will be able to hear clearly.
Special application: (left) Loudspeakers customized and installed into loft lighting fixtures. Primary loudspeakers are colored to blend with the church environment. At a slim 4 inches wide, the pair of six-foot speakers is virtually undetectable. Can you see them? (right).
