St. John the Baptist, Peabody

St John The Baptist Church in Peabody, Massachusetts reached out to us on December 10th of 2020 inquiring about live streaming. The next day we provided a preliminary estimate and were immediately asked if there was any way we could have them live streaming for Christmas! We were already 8 to 16 weeks booked out, so this was a huge request, but Power Sound recognized the importance of this Holy Day and we always try to do everything we can to help a church in need. Ultimately, our dedicated install team and office staff worked extra long hours the week before Christmas reaching out to all non-Christmas essential customers to ask if they'd allow us to reschedule them, express-ordering parts and coordinating a last minute installation; tasks that are usually spread out over several weeks.

We were able to provide a live stream for them by the end of the day on December 23rd as well as help them get all the codes for their webmaster. They were so amazed that we were able to do this! (And honestly, so were we!! It really was a hard push to pull this off!)

At that point, St. John became a dedicated member of our church family and proceeded to have us finalize their live stream (shortly after the holidays) with a total of 3 cameras and matrix mixing with overlay ability into their live stream.

Having proven our capabilities and design expertise, they then reached out to have us do a huge sound system overhaul the following year (2022). This included: custom painted line array speakers that accommodate both music and speech, digital audio mixing with simple end user setting selections, new altar microphone, wireless microphone for the priest with custom fitted over the ear slimline microphone, monitor speakers for the choir loft as well as on the worship platform for the celebrant, an independent audio mixing system for the Music Ministry, boom microphones to provide full pick up of the choir, and extensive system training for the staff.

Here are some photos of the nearly invisible speakers we installed in the sanctuary, the choir loft and the church proper.
